Cadillac CT6 starts at $53,495

The Cadillac CT6 will go on sale in March 2016 and the base model will cost $53,495. The model is scheduled to enter production at the Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant in January and will be available with a choice of three engines, kicking off with a 2.0-liter turbo rated at 265 bhp, followed by a larger V6 3.6-liter with 335 bhp and all-wheel drive along with the range-topping version that has a twin-turbo V6 3.0-liter producing 400 bhp and equipped with AWD. The aforementioned price refers to the entry-level version and if you want to upgrade to the mid-range motor the price will increase to $53,495 whereas the top-spec engine increases the model’s asking price to $55,495.

Cadillac will also offer a plug-in hybrid version but that won’t be available right away as the hardware is still a work in progress. Once it will be ready, the CT6 will have a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine teamed up with two electric motors to generate a combined output of 335 bhp and 432 lb-ft.


Interested buyers can already place an order for the Cadillac CT6 and the most expensive version available is the Platinum version which starts at $83,465. It should be mentioned that none of the prices we mentioned includes the extra $995 for destination and handling charges.
