Cadillac prices 2016 CTS-V at $83,995

Cadillac has established an $83,995 starting price for the 2016 CTS-V which will hit dealerships late this summer. It’s a serious chunk of change but it is still more affordable than its German enemies, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, BMW M5 and the Audi RS6. Those who order the high-performance American sedan will get to enjoy some serious horsepower as the V8 supercharged 6.2-liter engine pumps out 640 bhp (477 kW) and a massive peak torque of 630 lb-ft (855 Nm). It is transferred to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Thanks to this hardware arrangement, the 2016 CTS-V needs just 3.7 seconds to complete the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) task and it will keep on accelerating until it hits a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). It has received a set of massive 19-inch forged alloys teamed up with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires while the aggressive body includes bigger air intakes, aerodynamic side skirts and a carbon fiber ventilated hood.

As far as the interior is concerned, the 2016 CTS-V benefits from a CUE infotainment system, a matte carbon fiber trim, 12.3-inch instrument cluster (digital) and sport seats wrapped around in a combination between sueded microfiber and semi-aniline leather.
