Callaway develops supercharged Chevrolet SS

Callaway has disclosed plans to supercharge the 2014 Chevrolet SS which as you certainly remember is motivated by a V8 6.2-liter engine. The main modification is the adoption of a TVS supercharger, together with a high-flow intake system and an intercooler. Aside from these changes, Callaway has installed a “low restriction” exhaust and new fuel injectors. From a design point of view, the only noticeable changes would have to be the embroidered floor mats and the typical Callaway badging. Other than that, the tuning program also encompasses a special key fob together with “authenticity documentation.”

The vehicle will need just 4.5 seconds to get from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) and can run the quarter mile in around 12.4s at 110 mph (177 km/h).
