The Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is now available with an aftermarket kit called “SC 652” developed by Callaway. Its heart and soul is a massive V8 7.0-liter engine featuring a TVS2300 supercharger as well as an intercooler, a high-flow intake and a sports exhaust system which combined have increased the output of the LS7 engine by 147 bhp and 139 lb-ft. As a result, the eight cylinder engine is now capable of developing no less than 652 bhp and a maximum torque of 839 Nm. Power is transferred to the wheels with help from a six-speed manual transmission.
The Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 by Callaway will do the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in only 3.7 seconds while the quarter mile is completed in 11.5 seconds at 124 mph (199 km/h). This tuning program also comes with Callaway badging, an individually numbered dashboard plaque and embroidered floor mats.
Callaway plans on making only ten kits and each will have a starting price of $19,995.
