A rare Chevrolet Corvette C6RS by Pratt and Miller will be auctioned on eBay. The car was originally developed for Jay Leno and is essentially a street-legal version of the C6R racecar. Only seven units were ever made and this one needed more than a year to be done at a production cost of more than 330,000 USD. It wears a carbon fiber body kit and has been fitted with a track-spec suspension, plus a ram air induction system featuring a K&N filter. Stopping power comes from Brembo brakes, while the car sits on 18-inch front and 19-inch BBS rims wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Sport rubbers.
Motivation is provided by a V8 8.2-liter Katech engine outputting in excess of 600 bhp and 600 lb-ft. The engine is linked to a 6-speed T-56 manual gearbox equipped with a dual friction Centerforce clutch that has an aluminum flywheel. Inside it has a custom cabin created by Caravaggio with leather upholstery, carbon fiber shells for the sport seats. There’s also a Panasonic infotainment system plus a built-in radar detector.
The auction will end on May 19th.
