Those who aren’t satisfied with the standard output provided by the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray might want to give Callaway a call as the American tuners have recently updated their SC610 package which is also available for the convertible. Equipped with an Eaton supercharger, the 6.2-liter V8 engine can develop as much as 620 bhp (462 kW) and a minimum of 812 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. These output figures have not been finalized but will be in a short while after Callaway will be done with testing & validation procedures.
Aside from installing a supercharger, the engineers have modified the exhaust system and installed a three-element intercooler. In addition, the power unit is now protruding through the hood and according to Callaway it has improved the heat transfer. These upgrades cost $22,995 + car and come with a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty.
