Dodge brings Journey Crossroad to Chicago Auto Show
Dodge has taken the wraps off the Journey Crossroad at this year’s Chicago Auto Show. The model is slated to hit dealerships this spring and can be distinguished by revised front and rear bumpers, a glossy black front grille and redesigned side skirts. It has also gained tinted headlights and taillights, several platinum chrome accents as well as Hyper Black 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside there are black leather-wrapped seats, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display for the Uconnect infotainment system, as well as a Liquid Graphite trim, power front seats, leather steering wheel and contrast stitching.
The base engine is a 4-cylinder, 2.4-liter delivering 173 bhp and a peak torque of 166 lb-ft while the other engine is a larger V6 3.6-liter motor outputting 283 bhp and 260 lb-ft. These engines can work with either a four- or a six-speed automatic transmission and customers can pay extra to get an all-wheel drive setup.
Pricing of the 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad kicks off at $24,995, without taking into consideration the $995 destination charges.
