Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has introduced this week the 1199 Panigale S special edition which will serve as tribute to perhaps the best and most appreciated Formula 1 driver ever, none other than Brazilian Ayrton Senna. The motorcycle will be offered in only 161 units, as a reference to the number of races that Senna started in during his participation in Formula 1. It is important to mention that the 1199 Panigale S will be available exclusively on the Brazilian market and as you can see from these images will adopt an exceptional color scheme which is a reference to Senna.
Ducati mentions that all 161 motorcycles are going to get an individual production number placed on the top fork clamp, while another feature which will distinguish them from the regular versions will be the racing exhaust system. You will be able to take a look at the first unit of the limited series if you visit the TWO WHEELS Motor Cycle Show in Sao Paolo, Brazil where Ducati is showcasing the motorcycle along with a 1995 916 Senna model.
