Ermini teases Seiottosei, debuts in Geneva
Ermini has disclosed plans to show the Seiottosei several weeks from now at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Its heart and soul will be a Renault-sourced 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter gasoline engine outputting 315 bhp which will be put to the ground through a 6-speed Sadev sequential transmission. The vehicle promises to have a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in less than 3.5 seconds on its way to a maximum speed of 168 mph (270 km/h). It will be a two-seater brachetta which has received the Seiottosei name as a connection to its curb weight which stands at 686 kg (1,512 lbs).
The model has an overall length of 4120mm and is 1850mm wide, while the front and rear push road suspension comes from Renault. Stopping power is provided by the Brembo ventilated brake disc rotors and the 17-inch alloy wheels coming from OZ are shod in Toyo R888 tires. The Ermini 686 benefits from a chassis constructed of Trellis / steel tubing combined with carbon panels.
