Zenos E10 R announced with 350 bhp

The Zenos E10 R has arrived and aims to grab a piece of the lightweight track-focused sportscar market. Zenos Cars says this is their “most thrilling” and “fastest” model ever made thanks to a mid-mounted 4-cylinder 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that pushes out 350 bhp (261 kW) and a maximum torque of 475 Nm (350 lb-ft). The motor is coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox and allows the car to perform the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in as little as three seconds on its way to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). It has the same aluminum and carbon composite structure as the E10 and E10 S, but this new R version comes with Bilstein adjustable dampers and stronger brakes.

The Zenos E10 R makes use of newly developed 16- and 17-inch wheels that lower the unsprung mass by almost 10 kg (22 lbs) to enable the car tip the scales at just 700 kg (1,543 lbs) which represents a 25 kg (55 lbs) decrease compared to the E10 S. At an additional cost, buyers can get the optional six-point racing harness, carbon fiber seats and a quick-release steering wheel.

In terms of pricing, Zenos is asking £39,995 which makes it only £10,000 more than a Ford Focus RS fitted with the same motor.
