Former Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso was asked by his team Ferrari to test drive the company’s latest flagship model, the LaFerrari. The Italian marque says Alonso was involved in the development of the car as he provided his insight to the engineers and test drivers which were involved during the car’s creation phase. The end result is a supercar powered by a V12 6.3-liter engine unleashing 800 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque which works together with an electric motor rated at 163 HP and 199 lb-ft. This grants the car with an impressive combined output of 963 HP, enough for a 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.
