As if the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta in its standard configuration wasn’t powerful enough with its 740 HP and 509 lb-ft of torque, the engineers over at Novitec Rosso decided to play around with the car’s V12 6.2-liter engine to squeeze more power.
And so they did as after a custom calibrated mapping for the injection and ignition boost, they were able to lift output to 763 HP at 8,500 rpm and 518 lb-ft achieved at 6,300 rpm. The power unit can now rev up to 8,900 rpm and it allows the F12 to hit a top speed of 214 mph, up from the standard 211 mph.
Aside from the power boost, Novitec Rosso has also installed sport spring lowering the vehicle by up to 40 mm, while the front axle-mounted optional lifting system can raise Berlinetta’s front end by 40mm. They also provide various styles of 21-inch front wheels and 22-inch rear alloys, wrapped around in high performance Pirelli tires measuring 255/30 ZR 21 front and 335/25 ZR 22 rear.
Novitec Rosso announced that this is just the first stake of the tuning program they are developing for Ferrari’s latest and greatest.
