Lamborghini Gallardo Extenso R-EX by Reiter

The Lamborghini Gallardo Extenso R-EX is a GT3-spec race car developed by Reiter Engineering which will compete starting next year. The track-only vehicle is based on the Gallardo GT3 FL2 introduced almost two years ago and now the tuned version is considerably wider. Reiter has replaced the rear aluminum side panels with carbon fiber rear quarter panels and they also made the rear axle wider by 13mm so no the car has the maximum permissible width of 205cm for a GT3 car.

The Lamborghini Gallardo Extenso R-EX by Reiter Engineering has received other important hardware upgrades such as race-spec camshafts which have improved torque curve. In addition, the new MAHLE pistons have lowered fuel consumption and according to Retier have made the car more reliable. We also notice the slightly updated design of the headlights and taillights whereas at the back there’s a modified exhaust system which according to the tuner has been reengineered to provide a more brutal soundtrack.


Only ten units of the Lamborghini Gallardo Extenso R-EX will ever be made, with deliveries kicking off early next year. All cars are going to have either a titanium grey finish or a carbon black look while the starting price stands at a whopping €248,000.
