Ford has taken the wraps of an ST3 variant of the Fiesta in United Kingdom which will sit on top of the range from now on as a result of the higher specification. The trim is based on the ST-2 but comes with extra equipment like rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, cruise control, keyless entry, Sony DAB with navigation and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The vehicle also comes with an electronic automatic temperature control system and for 250 pounds it can receive rear parking sensors. There are five exterior color schemes to choose from along with two interior cabin themes.
Power comes from the same 1.6-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 182 PS and 240 Nm delivered to the front axle via a 6-speed manual transmission. The hot hatchback hits 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h.
