Engines – All RAM 1500 trims feature a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that’s capable of 305 horsepower and 269 lbs-ft of torque, but there are three other engines to upgrade to, including a 395 horsepower 5.7-liter V8 or a diesel engine that’s good for 260 hp, 480 lb-ft and 12,750 pound maximum towing.
