Those of you who live in Australia and New Zealand and have been waiting for the Cascada mid-size convertible will enjoy the good news as Holden has announced the soft top is scheduled to go on sale in these two countries next year, three years after the Opel & Vauxhall Cascada were introduced in Europe and United Kingdom. The car will go on sale alongside the GTC and VXR versions of the Astra together with the Insignia VXR. All these models will be hitting Holden’s dealerships in the first half of next year.
The Holden Cascada will go on sale with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. We don’t have the output figures of the engine but we can tell you the Euro-spec variant churns 170 HP and a maximum torque of 206 lb-ft.
