Honda has announced a special “Black Edition of the Civic five-door hatchback sold in United Kingdom. It follows similar versions of the CR-V and Jazz and can be had for as little as 249 pounds per month with three years of zero percent APR as well as a 500 pound deposit contribution. The vehicle comes with an all-black appearance highlighted by the black side skirts, glossy black roof-mounted spoiler and the black exterior mirror housings. Honda installed black alloy wheels together with a glossy black fuel lid cover and an aluminum Black Edition logo.
Motivation comes from a four-cylinder, 1.8-liter i-VTEC gasoline engine developing 142 PS (104 kW) and 128 lb-ft (174 Nm) or from a more economical 1.6-liter i-DTEC turbodiesel generating 120 PS (88 kW) and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm).
