When he’s not behind the wheel of his WTCC Honda Civic, Tiago Monteiro is driving the world’s fastest lawn mower, even if the road conditions are pretty damp. Despite the difficult conditions, Monteiro managed to reach a top speed of 80 mph at Spa Francorchamps just before reaching the legendary Eau Rouge corner. The lawn mower is actually based on the Honda HF2620 and is equipped with a 1000cc VTR Firestorm motorbike engine generating 109 bhp and 96 Nm. Power is sent via a paddle-shift 6-speed gearbox which allows the Mean Mower to hit 60 mph in less than 4 seconds.
