Japanese automaker Honda has started the teasing campaign for the 2015 Civic Type R. The first move they made is to show a rather inconclusive clip, with promise to provide preliminary details about the hot hatch at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show scheduled for next month. From what is known at this moment, the engine (probably a 2.0-liter turbo) will provide a minimum of 265 bhp (198 kW) but Honda hopes to push the horsepower figure to 300 bhp (224 kW). Some of the technology will be carried over from the WTCC-spec Civic race car. We will have more info at next month’s IAA.
