Hyundai releases pricing info for 2013 UK-spec ix35

Those of you who are interested in an Asian compact crossover might want to have a look at the fairly appealing 2013 Hyundai ix35. Pricing starts on the UK market from 18,495 pounds for the base S variant that is fitted with air conditioning, 16-inch rims, trip computer, remote central locking with alarm, USB and AUX support, hill start assist and downhill brake control. SE begins at 18,495 pounds and comes along with LED taillights, 17-inch alloys, heated front & rear seats, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth, auto dimming rearview mirror and leather steering wheel / gear knob.

SE Nav is an extra 1,000 pounds and encompasses rearview parking camera, seven-speaker audio system, sharkfin antenna and a satellite-navigation system. Hyundai is also introducing the Premium trim level that has chrome door handles, headlamp washers, keyless entry, privacy glass, leather seats, 18-inch wheels and bi-xenon headlights. Premium Panorama will add an electric tilt and slide panoramic sunroof.

Engine choices include 1.7-liter and 2.0-liter CRDi diesels, along with a 1.6-liter GDi gasoline mill. The 1.7-liter diesel can be optionally configured with ISG, and the 2.0-liter with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
