Infiniti Q30 Concept breaks cover

Following a teaser published earlier this month, Nissan’s premium brand Infiniti has released the first official image depicting the Q30 Concept which will be shown in the metal in a couple of weeks at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. The Japanese automaker is describing the concept as “not a coupe, not a hatch and not a crossover but a fusion of the three body styles.” Details are scarce right now but various reports are indicating the production version (confirmed for a 2015 launch) will utilize the MFA platform developed by Mercedes-Benz which underpins the A- and B-Class models.

In addition, the production version will allegedly come with a 3-way adjustable ride height system. Production is expected to take place at Nissan’s factory in Sunderland where production rate will be increased by 10 percent to around 550,000 cars once the Q30 will go on sale.
