Infiniti QX30 near-production concept teased
The Infiniti QX30 concept has made its debuts this week through a teaser image announcing the vehicle’s upcoming arrival at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The crossover is based on the Mercedes-Benz GLA which means it rides on Daimler’s MFA platform so it will get the same array of four-cylinder gasoline & turbodiesel engines. Front-wheel drive will be standard but select versions are going to be offered with an optional all-wheel drive system.
According to Infiniti, the QX30 concept is going to “inspire a premium compact crossover targeted at a new generation of premium customers.” The attached teaser image shows a rather appealing design with LED taillights, dual exhaust setup, beefy wheel arches, plastic body cladding and large tires indicating the car does have some off-road capabilities also enhanced by the increased ride height.
The Infiniti Q30 concept will be unveiled on March 3 while the production version is expected to come out before the end of the year.
