The 2014 model year for the Jaguar XF brings an updated 4-cylinder, 2.2-liter diesel ECO2 engine which is available for the Saloon and Sportbrake variants. This mill can deliver 163 HP (120 kW) at 3,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) available between 2,000 rpm and 5,500 rpm. With this engine under the hood, the 2014 Jaguar XF will return 48 mpg US (57.7 mpg UK or 4.89 liters / 100 km) with CO2 emissions standing at just 129 g/km. It takes 9.8 seconds to complete the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run and 10.5 seconds until the odometer reads 62 mph (100 km/h). With this power unit the 2014 XF can achieve a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h).
Jaguar has also made other modifications to the XF as aside from the revisions to the engine they have also tweaked the satellite navigation system that has gained more intuitive mapping, smart keyboard and one-way road visualization.
