Keating Bolt prototype unleashed
Several days ago in UK, Keating Supercars unleashed the brand new Bolt prototype which serves as a preview for a forthcoming production model. At its heart is a V8 7.0-liter LS7 engine sourced from GM which delivers 640 bhp (477 kW) but the automaker already ponders a more powerful 800 bhp (596 kW) version which will allegedly enable the car to do 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 2 seconds. Also in the works is a twin-turbo model which will reportedly do 340 mph (547 km/h).
The 800 bhp (596 kW) version is expected to carry a starting price of around 750,000 pounds but there’s no word regarding a date for the market release. We are curious to find out if the Keating Bolt will actually reach production phase in a segment where there are a lot of models coming from well-known automakers.
