Kia Niro concept breaks cover

Kia is preparing its Nissan Juke competitor by showcasing at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany this interesting concept that goes by the name of Niro. Kia is describing their latest product as a B-segment model “ready to take on the urban environment with style and tenacity.” A production version will probably be green-lighted if the feedback received on this concept will be positive. The styling was done by Kia’s design studio based in Germany which is being managed by Gregory Guillaume who is Kia’s chief designer for Europe.

Kia mentions the Niro concept was created exclusively for the European market and that it will come with an entirely new powertrain. We can assume they are talking about a hybrid arrangement since the car has a dual exhaust setup (hence it has a conventional engine) and several green accents which imply the use of green tech, like an electric motor.
