KTM X-BOW GT unleashed

Following some rumors which surfaced the Internet a few days ago, KTM has officially confirmed a new X-BOW model which has received the GT moniker. It has been fitted with a soft-top which they say its road legal and it’s very fast & easy to install. Another feature of the car would have to be the baggage system that brings 50 liters of cargo room to store your belongings. It will be sold in a multitude of paintworks, as well as with many components from PowerParts. The X-BOW GT is 37388mm long, 1202mm tall and 1915mm wide, with a wheelbase spanning at 2430mm while the weight stands at 1867 lbs (847 kg).

It rides on 17-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels with 205/40 and 255/35 tires, respectively. At its heart is a 2.0-liter, inline-4 turbocharged gasoline engine featuring an intercooler, direct injection and turbocharging. It enables the mill to churn 285 HP at 6,400 rpm and 310 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. A 6-speed manual transmission is in charge of transferring the entire power to the rear wheels, enabling the vehicle to do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in just 4.2 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 144 mph (231 km/h).

The KTM X-BOW is officially rated to return 28.3 mpg US (34 mpg UK or 8.3 liters / 100 km), while CO2 emissions stand at 189 g/km.
