Lamborghini Sesto Elemento going into production this year

Lamborghini will finally put into production this year the stunning Sesto Elemento which will be made in only 20 units, with each priced at approximately 2 million euros. This is a track-only supercar that will borrow the drivetrain of the Gallardo LP570-4 Superlegerra so it will be powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine pumping out 562 hp and a peak torque of 398 lb-ft. The entire horsepower will be sent to all wheels with the help of a six-speed automated manual transmission. The car tips the scales at just 999 kg (2,202 lbs) and can hit 62 mph from start in only 2.5 seconds, on its way to an impressive top speed of more than 200 mph (322 km/h).

It will be essentially the same as the concept model, with the only modifications related to an increased overall stiffness as well as an improved structure safety. Even the hi-tech modern interior cabin will be carried over from the concept, which means that the seats will be part of the carbon fiber monocoque structure and will come with cushions for additional comfort. The car will also get two individual crash structures featuring quick-release points so that they can be easily removed during maintenance.
