Lamborghini starts teasing the Gallardo replacement

Earlier this week Lamborghini announced production of the Gallardo has ended, more than ten years after it began. In other words, time has come for a new entry-level bull from the prestigious Italian supercar maker and today we bring the very first teaser with the car which will allegedly receive the “Cabrera” moniker. There’s not a lot of information known about the model but the vehicle will allegedly weigh less than 1,500 kg so it should turn out to be a pretty nimble vehicle. It will be offered as standard with an all-wheel drive setup but future more extreme special editions are going to get a RWD arrangement.
Power will reportedly come from an uprated version of the V10 5.2-liter naturally aspirated engine that will produce about 600 bhp. This engine will be coupled to a dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox, without the possibility of opting for a proper manual transmission.
