About a week ago Lamborghini unveiled yet another special edition of the Gallardo known as the LP 570-4 Squadra Corse. At that point there weren’t any details about how much you would have to pay for this car, but according to a new report it will have a starting price of $259,100 in the United States, without taking into account the gas guzzler tax that adds $2,100 to the final price tag. In addition, you’ll also have to pay for a destination fee but the sum is not known at this moment. It seems that Lamborghini will build only 15 cars for United States and all will be painted in Giallo Midas (yellow).
When Lamborghini revealed the car, they said the LP 570-4 Squadra Corse will be available in the following colors (aside from yellow): Rosso Mars (red), Grigio Thalasso (grey) and Bianco Monocerus (white). The vehicle will be presented to the public in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show where it will come with its powerful V10 engine churning 570 HP.
The power unit will be mated to an e-gear six-speed transmission which will allow the car to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.4 seconds, en route to a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
