Lamborghini Veneno Roadster introduced
Lamborghini has officially taken the wraps off the Veneno Roadster which is going to cost 3.3 million euros. The supercar will be limited to nine units and will lack a roof, but in return you will get a roll bar for improved stability around the corners. The vehicle weighs 3,278 lbs (1,490 kg) and has a carbon fiber monocoque combined with CFRP body parts, whereas inside the cabin you’ll mostly find carbon fiber. As a result of the lightweight construction, the Veneno Roadster has a power-to-weight ratio of 1.99 kg/bhp. (4.38 lbs/lbs).
At its heart is a V12 6.5-liter engine taken from the coupe which unleashes 750 HP (552 kW) transferred to both axles with help from an ISR transmission that comes with five driving modes. Thanks to this hardware arrangement, the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 220 mph (355 km/h).
