Lorinser prepares Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake

There aren’t a lot of upgrade programs for the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake but Lorinser has released one that has grabbed our attention. They have created a wide body kit that brings a new, more contoured front bumper featuring LED daytime running lights, along with reshaped side skirts and an updated rear apron. Priced at 6,176 euros, this custom aerodynamic body kit also contains flared fenders and a roof spoiler.

Various wheel designs are offered with sizes of 19 or 20 inches, along with a custom suspension system that will reduce the car’s ride height by 25mm.

Power upgrades are available for various engines of the CLS Shooting Brake. By installing a stainless steel exhaust system and reprogramming the ECU, the CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY can develop 322 hp (237 kW) at 6,200 rpm and a peak torque of 400 Nm available between 2,900 and 5,000 rpm. It is enough for a top speed of 265 km/h, without the limiter. As for the CLS 350 CDI model, this one comes with an upgrade boost to 305 (224 kW) at 4,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 4,100 rpm reached between 1,600 and 2,900 rpm.

There aren’t any details right now about the price tags of the power upgrades. Lorinser has announced that a suspension kit for the versions equipped with the Airmatic suspension is in the works.
