Mazda launches Flair crossover in Japan

Mazda has quietly unveiled the Flair crossover at home in Japan and it represents a lightweight crossover which is programmed to go on sale at the end of January 2014 from a starting price of ¥1,285,200. The vehicle has received a rugged body with plastic cladding, 15-inch alloy wheels and skid plates, while the ground clearance stands at 180mm. The vehicle has a 28-degree approach angle and a cabin spacious enough to host four adults. The interior packs heated front seats and a rear foldable seat which can be reclined and can slide as well.
Under the hood of the 2014 Mazda Flair is a tiny 660cc gasoline engine sent as standard to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). For more money, clients will have the possibility of configuring their Flair with a four-wheel drive system that benefits from hill descent control system.
