mbDESIGN upgrades the Audi R8 V8

The Audi R8 in V8 guise has received an upgrade package from mbDESIGN who decided to apply a full body wrap inspired by that of the F16 Arctic Aggressor fighter jet. Stock wheels were removed in order to make room for 20-inch rims wrapped around in 235/20 ZR20 front and 305/25 ZR20 rear Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires. The tuning work is based on a prefacelift 2009 Audi R8 V8 but with the side blades and side skirts taken from the V10 model. It also comes with a carbon fiber front splitter and a carbon fiber rear panel from the Audi R8 GT.

Other enhancements worth mentioning include original Audi carbon mirror caps, a custom carbon trunk cover, SuperCar24’s carbon diffuser and several carbon fiber inserts in the engine area. In addition, power of the 4.2-liter V8 engine has increased to 453 PS (333 kW) via an updated engine software, a K&N air filter and a stainless steel Capristo exhaust system with electronic valve control.
