mcchip-dkr tunes the Porsche 911 (997) Turbo S

There is a new aftermarket package for the previous Porsche 911 Turbo S, based on the 997 generation. It comes from Germany’s mcchip-dkr which have fiddled with the car’s 3.8-liter Turbo DFI engine and bumped its output from the stock 530 HP and 700 Nm of torque to 600 HP and 815 Nm. The significant hike in output was possible after the tuner installed its stage three kit comprising a revamped engine management, an ECU remap, as well as a bespoke exhaust equipped with a Cargraphic sports catalytic set and header. To fit this kit on your 997 Turbo S you will have to pay a steep 8,499 euros.

Other goodies worth mentioning include the alloy wheels taken from the Porsche 997 GT2 RS which are wrapped around in Michelin Cup tires. There’s also a new rear window manufactured from a lighter material called makrolon polycarbonate, while for added safety the 997 Turbo S received a roll cage. Other than that, it packs Alcantara & leather-wrapped Recaro seats and Bilstein coilovers.
