The Mercedes-AMG GT kicks off in United Kingdom for £97,195 which will get you the standard model. It comes with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine rated at 462 HP and 600 Nm which should be enough for more people but those who need more power can get the AMG GT S priced at £110,495. This one not only increases output to 510 HP and 650 Nm, but it also features an electronically-controlled rear differential, an AMG sports suspension, larger brake discs, red brake calipers and 20-inch rims as opposed to the base model which rides on a 19-inch set.
If you are willing to pay more, there’s a pricier GT S Edition 1 from £122,745 which gets a deep front splitter and a fixed rear wing. Moreover, it also is equipped with a carbon roof, black mirror housings, glossy silver and black 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels while inside it gets AMG Performance seats, red contrasting stitching, a leather and suede finish while the center console is covered in a Black Diamond texture.
The GT S and GT S Edition 1 will start reaching customers in April next year while those who order the base model will have to wait for late 2015.
