Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet prepared by Mansory

At the 2013 edition of the Geneva Motor Show which will open its doors today Mansory will introduce a tuning program for the Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet. The aftermarket package is known as the Speranza and encompasses a wide body kit manufactured from carbon fiber which has a new bonnet, rear spoiler, LED daytime running lights, as well as a custom tire carrier also made from the same lightweight material. The car seen in these official photos is riding on 24-inch alloys covered in Ultrac Vorti high performance tires measuring 305/35 R24. On the inside it can feature a sports steering wheel, premium leather upholstery, alloy pedals and a carbon fiber trim.

The upgrade program doesn’t end here as the engineers at Mansory have worked on the G500’s V8 5.5-liter engine. They installed new connecting rods, pistons, as well as other “racing components”. After the upgrades have been made, the eight-cylinder engine was capable of putting out no less than 700 HP (515 kW) and a maximum torque of 664 lb-ft (900 Nm).
