The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series will be going on sale in the United States next month from a starting price of no less than $275,000, without taking into account the extra $1,800 as destination charges. The German marque describes this model as a road-going variant of the hardcore SLS AMG GT3. It has been equipped with a carbon fiber rear wing, 19-inch front / 20-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, along with an aerodynamic body kit that has new front and rear bumpers, flared wheel arches and different side skirts.
Motivation comes from a V8 6.2-liter engine that unleashes an impressive 622 bhp (464 kW) and 634 Nm (468 lb-ft), helping the SLS AMG Black Series sprint to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 196 mph (315 km/h).
