Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake gets OrangeArt Edition
The Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake OrangeArt Edition is being detailed ahead of next year’s planned market launch. It will be available early 2015 and is basically a limited edition bringing cosmetic tweaks such as matte graphite grey accents and orange accents on the rear diffuser, side mirrors and front grille surround. This appealing orange theme can also be found on the alloy wheels which have a matte black look while the bi-xenon headlights come equipped with “highlight rings” finished in orange.
Moving inside the cabin, the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake OrangeArt Edition has leather/DINAMICA microfiber sport seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and carbon fiber trim. In addition, the compact shooting brake has also received orange contrast stitching as well as a dashboard wrapped around in ARTICO.
There aren’t any changes underneath the hood so the model continues to pack a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 360 HP (265 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. Output is channeled to a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system through an AMG 7-speed SPEEDSHIFT DCT gearbox that enables the model to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 4.7 seconds on its way onto an electronically-governed top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
