German aftermarket specialists from Brabus have upgraded the Mercedes S63 AMG to no less than 1,450 Nm of torque. In its stock configuration, the 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo engine is good enough for a more than satisfying 585 HP (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) but that hasn’t stopped Brabus from significantly boosting these figures. After working their magic, the eight-cylinder engine is now capable of churning a whopping 850 HP (625 kW) @ 5,400 rpm and 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft) @ 2,500 – 4,500 rpm.
Besides packing an extra punch, this particular Mercedes S63 AMG by Brabus has also gone through cosmetic surgery and features a carbon fiber body kit while the body panels benefit from a satin gold finish. The luxurious interior cabin has received the same gold treatment and we also notice the digital speedometer has been updated and now it goes all the way up to 400 km/h, thus alerting us there’s a monster underneath the hood.
Brabus hasn’t said anything about how quick this Mercedes S63 AMG is but we remind you the stock car in rear-wheel drive guise sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds which is 0.4s more than the 4MATIC all-wheel drive variant.
