MINI surprised everyone last week when they unveiled a bespoke pickup conversion for the Paceman entitled Adventure concept. The vehicle is based on the pre-facelift Paceman Cooper S and has received an attractive Jungle Green exterior paint scheme as well as a truck-inspired cargo bed and a roof rack. As it can be seen in these official images, the concept has received a customized chassis which has increased the vehicle’s ground clearance to better tackle the difficult terrain. Moreover, the concept benefits from a snorkel which should allow the Paceman Adventure to go through river crossing easier.
Motivation is provided by a 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine generating 184 HP and a peak torque of 260 Nm delivered to the off-road tires with help from the firm’s all-wheel drive arrangement called ALL4.
