Monster truck jump record broken

Today’s entertainment video comes courtesy of KMC Wheels who uploaded on YouTube the record-breaking attempt by Joe Sylvester for the longest jump in a monster truck. The vehicle in question is known as the “Bad Habit” and as you can see it’s wearing the body of a Ram. Tipping the scales at 4,624 kg (10,200 lbs) the monster truck reached 85 mph when it arrived at the ramp and managed to accomplish a whopping 237-feet 6-inch jump, with Joe Sylvester behind the wheel at the 2013 Cornfield 500 event. He took down the previous record by 23 feet and was 1 mph away from equalizing the land speed record for a monster truck.
