Nissan 370Z Nismo launched in Europe

Nissan has introduced its Nismo lineup in Europe with the arrival of the 370Z Nismo which will go on sale together with the Juke Nismo. To be offered exclusively as a coupe, the 370Z Nismo comes with the same V6 3.7-liter engine but it has been tuned to output 344 hp at 7,400 rpm and has a maximum torque of 273 lb-ft reached at 5,200 rpm. Thanks to an improved throttle response, more of the engine’s power is now available from as low as 2,000 rpm. This power unit is linked to a six-speed manual gearbox which sends the car to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.2 seconds, making it 0.1 seconds faster than before.
Aside from the healthy power boost, the 2013 Nissan 370Z Nismo benefits from a new body kit which allows the car to produce as much downforce as the GT-R. This aero kit comes with a larger diffuser featuring built-in twin exhaust pipes, as well as bigger side skirts, an updated front with a splitter, plus a fixed wing at the back. It rides on 19-inch alloy wheels covered by Bridgestone Potenza tires specially made for this model, measuring 245/50 at the front and 285/35 at the back.
The 370Z Nismo sits 10mm lower and has better brakes, dampers and springs, while the interior cabin boasts a new red and black trim, exclusive Nismo sport seats and a new steering wheel wrapped around in Alcantara.
