Team Galag’s TG1 detailed, based on Nissan GT-R

An interesting appearance at this year’s Gumball 3000 edition is Team Galag’s TG1. Although you can’t really tell from these official photos, the car is actually based on the Nissan GT-R but obviously it was fitted with an entirely new body kit manufactured from carbon fiber which has reduced the weight of the Japanese supercar to 1,632 kg (3,600 lbs). The vehicle has also gained a fresh new set of 21-inch alloy wheels.

The car was created by Team Galag from Saudi Arabia in collaboration with Parker Brothers Concepts who are based in the United States. Work on the engine was done by UK-based Litchfield Motors.

The output of the mill was increased to an impressive 750 HP (551 kW) and 948 Nm (700 lb-ft) which allows this custom Nissan GT-R to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in just 2.68 seconds. Team Galag says the TG1 is capable of achieving a top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h).
