Nissan has taken the wraps off the 2016 Versa Note Color Studio which will be introduced next week at the L.A. Auto Show. This is basically a personalization program that’s also available for the Juke small crossover and in the case of the Versa it gives buyers the chance to choose from a wide array of different interior cabin accessories as well as from various exterior tweaks available in the following six colors: faux Carbon Fiber, Black-Purple, Red, White, Orange and Black. On the outside these accessories can be applied onto the door handle covers, front lip finisher, side mirror caps as well as on the 15-inch rims, wheel center caps and on the spoiler mounted at the back on the tailgate.
Stepping inside the cabin, the 2016 Nissan Versa Note Color Studio gets a new look for the trim appliques, speaker rings and air vent rings while the kick plates, rearview mirror cover and the floor mats are also bespoke for this model.
There aren’t any technical changes, so the car continues to come with a four-cylinder 1.6-liter gasoline engine producing 109 bhp and a peak torque of 107 lb-ft sent to the front axle via a 5-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission.
