One of Nissan’s models at the Los Angeles Auto Show is a concept of a Sentra Nismo which could serve as a preview for an upcoming hotter version of the car. Its heart and soul is a direct-injection turbocharged 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine producing 240 bhp (179 kW) and a maximum torque of 325 Nm (240 lb-ft). The output is transferred to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited slip differential. Nissan installed a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels which are covered in 225/35 R19 Michelin Super Sport performance tires.
From the 370Z coupe Nissan has borrowed the rear diffuser and red Brembo brake calipers while for the cabin they chose Recaro front seats covered in a combination of black leather and Alcantara. Other than that, the Nissan Sentra Nismo concept has a satin carbon look for the instrument cluster, along with a NISMO steering wheel and shift knob wrapped around in leather and Alcantara.
