The 2016 Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary Gold Edition has been unveiled today alongside the regular 2016 model year. It can be visually distinguished by the Silica Brass exterior paint scheme, a commemorative plaque on the dashboard along with a golden VIN plate while production is going to be capped at less than 30 units for the United States market. There’s also a GT-R Black Edition priced at $111,150 which has bespoke wheels, carbon fiber rear spoiler and a two-tone cabin boasting leather-wrapped sport seats from Recaro.
The base GT-R Premium version has remained pretty much unchanged but it does get new RAYS 20-spoke alloy wheels featuring a premium dark finish. It should be mentioned that all versions, including the 2016 Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary Gold Edition, come with an updated variant of the V6 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine that now develops 550 bhp (410 kW).
On top of the range sits the GT-R Nismo priced at $149,990 which has the same engine but tuned to deliver 600 bhp (447 kW) and a peak torque of 651 Nm (481 lb-ft).
As a final note, it should be mentioned that all prices do not include the extra $1,595 destination & handling fee.
