Nissan is currently developing a new type of innovative paint technology that is capable of repelling rain, dirt and mud. Known as the “super-hydrophobic and oleophobic paint”, the Japanese marque applied it on a Note prototype and they will start testing it at the firm’s European Technical Center to find out how effective it is in the real world and also what are the chances of offering it as an aftermarket product. The paint has a coating called “Ultra-Ever Dry” and creates a protective layer of air between the environment and the air.
