Panoz will be celebrating its 25th anniversary by launching a special edition of their Esperante Spyder. The vehicle will be distinguished thanks to its 19-inch BBS alloy wheels and an aluminum body while the cabin will be home to a combination between Nappa leather and Alcantara, together with a dashboard-mounted iPad mini. In addition, the steering wheel will be wrapped around in Alcantara and it will be optionally offered with a carbon fiber finish. The entry-level variant will have a V8 5.0-liter engine outputting 430 bhp or an optional V8 5.4-liter supercharged motor unleashing no less than 575 bhp.
There’s also the Panoz Esperante Spyder GT which is offered exclusively with the larger V8 5.4-liter engine and benefits from a carbon fiber body. For more money clients will be able to select a power upgrade which will raise the number of ponies to an impressive 800.
Panoz says the base model will have a starting price of $189,000 while the GT derivative will set you back at least $229,000.
