Peugeot facelifts the 3008 crossover

Peugeot has announced plans to show the facelifted 3008 at next month’s IAA event in Frankfurt, Germany.
The car will be presented alongside the HYbrid4 version, with both models getting a revised front fascia that has an updated front grille, more chrome trim and a new look for the headlights. Peugeot has also modified the taillights and added several new styles of 16- to 18-inch rims.
On the inside there is more metallic trim, a revised switchgear and updated upholstery.
The regular 2014 Peugeot 3008 will be available with a wide variety of engines, including a 115 HP 1.6 e-HDi FAP, a 1.6 VTi with 120 HP and a 1.6-liter THP offered with 155 HP and 163 HP. The aforementioned HYbrid4 model will make use of a 2.0 HDi FAP which will power the front wheels while a 37 HP electric motor will motivate the rear axle. It will have a combined output of 200 HP and should do 69.1 mpg US (83 mpg UK or 3.4 liters / 100 km).
