Porsche talks about the 918 Spyder’s Weissach package

Porsche has provided more details about the optional Weissach package available for the 918 Spyder supercar. Those who configure the car with this kit will benefit from a carbon fiber rear wing, roof, windscreen frame and rearview mirrors. In addition, the package also encompasses other goodies such as titanium chassis bolts, ceramic wheel bearings, less sound-deadening material along with a lighter braking system and 20- / 21-inch forged magnesium alloy wheels. On the inside there’s more Alcantara upholstery as well as six-point seatbelt harnesses.
Power of the Porsche 918 Spyder comes from a V8 4.6-liter gasoline engine working with two electric motors to offer a combined output of 887 HP and 1,280 Nm. Fitted with the Weissach package, the vehicle will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.6 seconds, 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 7.2 seconds and 0-186 mph (0-300 km/h) in 19.9 seconds.
